Institute, besides the catering mental health services, also provide practical training for the people pursuing mental health courses in one form or the other, eg., Graduation Honors, Post-Graduation; M.Phil., Ph.D. (Psychology/Social Work), B.Sc./ M.Sc. Psychiatry Nursing etc.

One/Two months – observership
Three/Six Months – Internship

Training is provided by qualified & experienced faculty in the field of Psychology/Psychiatry, which includes Psychological Evaluation, Comprehensive assessment with various Psychological Measures, Counseling techniques and psychotherapies through clinical sessions and hands on training.

Besides this, various workshops/seminars are also organized for specialized training and clinical skills.
AWARENESS PROGRAMMES

Institute also takes initiatives in spreading the awareness among masses by organizing Psycho-Educational Interactive meets for the caregivers of patients with mental disorders. These meets emphasis on the practical challenges being faced by the care givers; identifying the symptomatic changes; outcome of treatment; how to deal with resistance; how to deal with their own burn-out; feasible & practical solutions; and how to overcome the stigma of mental disorders & their treatment .

As a part of awareness programmes institute also organizes free check-up/screening/consultation camps for specific disorders in the form of memory clinic; depression assessment etc. for people in need.

These meets/camps are organized free of charges.

Another wing of Arya Hospital Neuropsychiatry & Trauma Centre, is working efficiently in the field of clinical psychology. A good team of qualified Psychologists, Dr. Amit Kr. Dwivedi (Ph.D. Psychology), Ms. Harleen Rehill (M. Phil Psychology) is working dedicatedly and sincerely to assist Dr. Arjun Arya in the management of Indoor patients and OPD Patients as well.

This wing has gained expertise in screening, detailed assessment, and comprehensive evaluation of all types of psychiatric disorders. Not only this, but counseling services and psychotherapy sessions conducted for the patients and their care-givers.

This section of the hospital also active in Psycho-metric Evaluation, with the help of internationally standardized measure, for Intellectual Measurement, Personality Assessment, Memory Assessment, Rorschach Testing, Autism, Learning Disability, Stress and Related Disorders, ADHD Screening and many more.

Therapeutically, this unit has been competitively providing various psychotherapies, like JPMR, Brief relaxation therapy, Music and Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Couple Therapy, Family Therapy, Relapse Prevention & Motivation Enhancement Therapy (for addiction patients), Exposure-Response Prevention Therapy (for OCD) and many more therapies for childhood population and geriatrics.

In the basement of hospital building, orthopaedic clinic and physiotherapy centre is providing the treatment facility for various bone & joint related problems under the supervision of Dr. Neema Arya, Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon. The centre is equipped with advanced physiotherapy machines both electronic based as well as exercise based.

Centre for General Medicine is being run under the dynamic and expert supervision of Dr. V. K. Arya & Dr. Promila Arya, where treatment facility for various diseases are available with a team of Physician, Gynaecologist and qualified staff. Facilities in the Centre for General Medicine are as follows:
