Arya Hospital, the oldest private hospital in the city of Chandigarh, was a dream to Dr. V.K. Arya (Physician and Cardiologist), which came true in 1983 with its establishment at NAC Manimajra.

Arya Hospital initiated catering the health services in the region of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Pinjore, Kalka and nearby areas till the periphery of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana & Punjab. This multispecialty hospital has been one of its own type providing OPD, IPD & Day care facilities for all types of diseases including Cardiology, Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and many others. Dr. V. K. Arya and Dr. Promila Arya with their dedicated team have been achieving milestones of success with the smooth working of the hospital since 1983 till now, under its theme HEALTH & HAPPINESS TO ALL WHO ENTER HERE.

There comes in 2009, when another special wing of the treatment facilities, available in the hospital, was introduced i.e. Psychiatry, under the expert supervision of Dr. Arjun Arya. Since then the process began where this multi-specialty hospital converted into Super-Specialty Hospital in the TRICITY for Mental Health Services and De-Addiction Facility.

This super-specialty hospital is having the treatment for all types of psychiatric disorders and addiction problems on OPD as well as IPD basis. The centre was named ARYA HOSPITAL NEUROPSYCHIATRY & TRAUMA CENTRE. Now the centre has achieved a level of expertise, where it is not only acknowledged by people surrounding but considered as one of the best mental health care centre & approved by the U.T. Administration also. The U.T. Government has facilitated the process of institute, to cater the mental health services among masses, by granting the approval under three major acts i.e. Clinical Establishment Act (CEA), Mental Health Act (MHA), and Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances ACT (NDPS Act).
